Apple Java for OS X 10.6 Update 17 is out: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5982 but I did not find a direct download link yet.

Today’s news says that there's supposed to be a Java update available, so presumably that would be Update 17. But if there's an Update 17 for Apple Java for Mac OS X 10.6, Software Update.app doesn't know about it yet. I just ran Software Update and it reported that all my apps are up to date. Likewise, there’s no Update 17 available (yet) on Apple’s website as of the time of this posting.
Running the Java Preferences utilily shows that the most recent version of Java installed on my Mac Pro in Snow Leopard (10.6.8) is Java SE6 v1.6.0_51-b11-456 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available), which was installed with Update 16. So it appears that either the recent update doesn't affect Apple Java for Mac OS X 10.6, or Apple hasn't yet released the update.

Actually Update 14 for 10.6.8 updates Java SE 6 to 1.6.0_43 and not 1.6.0_41 (this detail should be corrected also for the update for 10.7 and 10.8).
